Dear APWU Members & Retirees,
It's time again for the annual Henry Doorly Zoo Membership Drive! Starting March 1st through April 15, in coordination with the zoo, all memberships (excluding Patron memberships) will be discounted by $15, and we will add a $40 rebate to any current APWU member or Retiree if that membership is in your name. We will not honor the discount to anyone other than you, the actual dues-paying member or Union retiree. (Spouses may purchase, but your name must be first on the membership.) At the conclusion of the drive, we will begin with the reimbursement process of the Union's $40.00. A rebate check will be mailed to you, so please be sure we have your current address on file.
The Union is aware that this isn't the smoothest way to get the $40 discount.
Unfortunately, many people unaffiliated with the Union had the discount information and used it last year. We simply can't afford to give this size of a discount to anyone other than our retirees or current Union members. Thank you for your understanding.
