2023 Labor Day Parade and Septemberfest
Omaha Area Local to march - all members, friends, and family are encouraged to join!
Septemberfest will run from September 1-4. Discounted tickets will be available during August for members.
On Monday, September 4, 2023, the Omaha Area Local will be marching in the annual Labor Day parade.
The Omaha Area Local will be wearing 2023 APWU t-shirts.
Parade team: The Omaha Area Local will be marching and proudly displaying our banner. We will have candy to hand out to the crowd. Details of the meeting spot for parade team members are to be determined.
What to wear: Wear your NEW 2023 APWU Union t-shirt. The Union will be providing these t-shirts for free to all participants.
What to bring: Wagons, dogs, pull-behind coolers - almost anything you want to march with is OK.
Event Tent: At 10th and Mike Fahey, the parade ends at the tent where participants can enjoy free hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and pop. Beer will cost $3. The Omaha Area Local will hand out wristbands to those participating - one wristband will get an entire family into the post-parade picnic until 1:30 pm.

Parade assembly area PARADE TEAM MEETING SPOT - WE ARE #13 located at 16th and Mike Fahey.
WHEN: The parade team will assemble from 9 am through 10 am for pictures and refreshments.We expect to start marching in the parade around 10:30 a.m.
The time spent participating in the parade will be approximately 1 1/2 hours.
All members, family, and friends are invited to march in the parade!
