Ballots have been mailed!
Right now, you should be receiving ballots for the election of National APWU officers.
APWU National Election ballots have been mailed to each APWU member eligible to vote on September 14, 2022.
To be counted, ballots must be returned to and received in the designated post office box in Washington, DC, by 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
Omaha Area Local endorsements
The Omaha Area Local membership voted to endorse the APWU Solidarity Team at the May 10, 2022, general membership meeting.
The Omaha Area Local supports the following candidates for the contested offices that will appear on your ballot:
- Mark Dimondstein for President
- Judy Beard for Legislative/Political Director
- Daleo Freeman for Human Relations Director
- Nancy Olumekor for Retirees Director
No Ballot?
Members who have not received a ballot by September 19 are asked to notify their local office or contact the American Arbitration Association between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (EDT), Monday through Friday, at 800-529-5218 to request a duplicate ballot. Duplicate ballots may also be requested by visiting https://electionsaaa.org/ballotrequest/APWU.
To receive a duplicate ballot, members must provide their name, address, employee ID number, and the last four digits of their Social Security number, along with the name of their local and their craft.
Voter turnout is essential. Every vote counts!
